How is a Covid-19 test done?
A: A swab sample is taken from the nose & throat. Your sample is then submitted to a certified lab for examination. The results of your test will be shared back with you within 24 to 48 hours.

A: A Covid-19 PCR test will detect whether you currently have Covid-19. A Covid-19 antibody test will detect whether you have had Covid-19 in the past & have recovered from it by checking the Covid-19 antibody level in your body.

What should I do if I test positive for Covid-19?
A: If you test positive for Covid-19, you are required to self-isolate for 14 days. You may wish to consult with a doctor live from the comfort of your home. Do I need to take a Covid-19 test before flying out of Dubai?
A: International travellers are required to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test before departing from Dubai. They are required to present a printed certificate from an accredited laboratory to the airport. Dubai airport authorities will not accept digital certificates & SMSs. Covid-19 antibody tests & home testing kits are also not accepted. You are required to consult the airline for further information about flying to the UAE.
